الشرطي: حسناً، سيدي. ما الذي سُرِق؟

My laptop and my wallet.

علي: حاسوبي و محفظتي.

Policeman
When and where did this happen?

الشرطي: متى و أين حدث هذا؟

Ali
It happened earlier today, around 10:00 AM, in the park. I was sitting on a bench, working on my laptop, when a man came up to me and snatched it out of my hands. He also took my wallet from my pocket.

علي: حدث هذا صباح اليوم، حوالي الساعة العاشرة، في الحديقة. كنتُ جالساً على مقعد، أعملُ على حاسوبي، حيث أتى شخص إليّ و انتزعه من يدي. لقد أخذ أيضاً محفظتي من جيبي.

Did you get a good look at the man?

الشرطي: هل تمكنتَ من النظر جيداً للرجل؟

Yes, I did. He was tall and thin, with short brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

علي: نعم، لقد فعلت. لقد كان طويلاً و نحيفاً، و كان شعره بنياً ولديه لحية. كان يرتدي بلوزة و بنطال جينز.

Can you describe your laptop and wallet in more detail?

الشرطي: هل يمكنك وصف حاسوبك و محفظتك بالتفصيل؟

My laptop is a MacBook Pro, silver in color. My wallet is black leather, and it contains my driver's license, credit cards and some cash.

علي: حاسوبي هو ماك بوك برو، فضي اللون. محفظتي جلدية سوداء، بداخلها رخصة قيادتي، بطاقاتي الإئتمانية و بعض النقود.

Policeman
Okay, I'll put out a broadcast to all units to be on the lookout for the man and your belongings. Do you have any other information that could help us track him down?

الشرطي: حسناً، سأصدر تعميماً لجميع الوحدات لتترصد الرجل و أغراضك. هل تملك أي معلومات أخرى يمكن أن تساعدنا في تتبع السارق؟

No, that's all I have.

علي: لا، هذا كل ما لدي.

Policeman
Okay, well, we'll do our best to find your laptop and wallet. In the meantime, I'll need you to fill out a police report.

الشرطي: حسناً. سنفعل ما بوسعنا لإيجاد حاسوبك و محفظتك. في الوقت الراهن أحتاج منك أن تملأ تقرير شرطة.
